PlayStation 5 Slim Disc Edition – PS5 Slim New Model

The PS5 Slim keeps the same processing power as the original PS5 in a more compact body, so loading is near-instant and games run at high frame rates. The 1TB SSD gives more room for installs out of the box than the 825GB model.

• 1TB custom SSD: more usable space for large game installs.
• Ryzen Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU: up to 10.3 teraflops with hardware ray tracing for realistic light, shadow and reflections.
• 16GB GDDR6 memory: 448GB/s bandwidth for fast asset streaming.

Need more space? The internal M.2 slot accepts a compatible PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD with a heatsink. See verified options in our storage devices collection.

• Detachable disc drive: plays PS5 discs, PS4 discs and 4K Blu-ray movies, so you can buy, trade and collect physical games.
• 4K at 120Hz: HDMI 2.1 output for smooth, low-latency gameplay on compatible displays. Pair it with a quality HDMI cable.
• Backward compatible: the vast majority of PS4 games run on PS5.

• DualSense wireless controller included: haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make in-game actions feel physical. Learn more on the official DualSense page.
• Playing with a friend? Add a second Sony PS5 DualSense Controller for local co-op, or see more controllers and gamepads.
• Tempest 3D AudioTech: positional sound through TV speakers or compatible headphones. Explore gaming headphones.

Every PS5 comes with ASTRO's PLAYROOM pre-installed. For your first disc, try Astro Bot, Ghost of Yotei or EA SPORTS FC 27, or browse all PS5 games. Our must-have PS5 accessories guide covers the rest of your setup.
