Rumors are floating that Sony’s upcoming and most anticipated title “God of War Ragnarok” might get pushed to the year 2022. Director Cory Barlog said that the game will only be released “when its done”. The current situations with the on going pandemic are also not making it easy for the company to release the title this year.
Not much information has been revealed about the game except a short teaser but its confirmed that the game will be direct sequel to the God of War 2018. The same teaser reveled a late 2021 release date but a three year development time window for a AAA sequel seems unrealistic. But the delay might give us a full blown PS5 exclusive title that fans are looking for. Grant Turismo 7 which is also a much anticipated game for racing fans was also pushed to 2022 just recently.
For 2021, not all hope is lost. “Horizon Forbidden West” and “Ratchet and Clank : Rift Apart” are set to release later this year. Along with these two exclusives, third party titles like Resident Evil: Village, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Atomic Heart are set to release this year. Just last week “It Takes Two” from the makers of ” A Way Out” became the top rated game of the year. so if you love couch co op games, its a must have title for you.
